Kim and Mike’s Wedding
Wednesday, September 1st, 2010Details from Kim and Mike’s Wedding
Wednesday, August 11th, 2010Kim and Mike got married at Jasper Winery a few weeks ago and it was a beautiful wedding. If you are looking for a great place for a smaller wedding, a birthday party or anniversary party, Jasper Winery is a great venue. They have wine tasting available and chairs and tables outside so you can enjoy the view of the beautiful winery while you sip on your wine. Simply Iced made these amazing cupcakes for the occasion. We thought it would be fun to show some of the details that Jasper Winery and Simply Iced provided for Kim and Mike’s special day.
More photos from Kim and Mike’s wedding in a few weeks!

Mike and Kim’s Guestbook Album
Tuesday, July 6th, 2010A couple of months ago, we photographed Kim and Mike’s engagement session. We had a lot of fun going around the East Village and downtown with them. Kevin had designed a guestbook album for their wedding so that their guests could write messages to them on their special day. We’ve noticed guests at weddings always have so much fun writing funny messages to the bridal couple.
This was one of my favorite moments from the day. Such a sweet moment.
This was Kim’s favorite page. We called this their Blooper page because it showed how much fun they like to have together.
We had so much fun photographing their wedding a couple of weeks ago and we’ll be posting some of our favorite photos from that soon.
Dustin and Sarah’s Wedding
Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010A few weeks ago, we photographed Dustin and Sarah’s wedding out at Springbrook Park in Guthrie Center. Dustin and Sarah made it an intimate affair and we were the witnesses for their special day. Thank you Dustin and Sarah for allowing us to be apart of your day. It was a truly memorable day and we had so much fun.
Thanks to Fundamental Elements for use of their music. By the way, they will be in Des Moines this Saturday (June 26th) at the Des Moines Art Festival playing at 8PM – Admission is free!

Monday, June 21st, 2010Mike and Kim’s Engagement Session
Wednesday, May 26th, 2010A few weeks ago, We photographed Kim and Mike’s engagement session in the downtown area. Although we didn’t intent this, we all realized that by the end of the day, that red seemed to be the theme of their session because it was in almost every location we went.
Mike and Kim are such a fun and relaxed couple. They complement each other really well and always have a lot of fun together.
I love this sweet moment between them.
Kim and Mike, thanks for spending the day with us. We are really looking forward to your beautiful wedding in a vineyard in July. You two are such a sweet couple and we know it’ll be a very meaningful day.

Thursday, January 14th, 2010Jessie and Scott’s Wedding Album
Monday, December 7th, 2009Here is Jessie and Scott’s beautiful wedding album. They chose a leather chocolate color cover because this was one of their wedding colors.

The pattern that we used for the background of this page, Jessie had used on her programs and invitations. We always like to incorporate little personal touches into wedding albums.

The Tournament Club of Iowa
Sunday, July 26th, 2009Jessie and Scott had their wedding reception at the Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City. We were very impressed with the staff there. Barb, the events coordinator, took good care of us throughout our time there. She was organized and friendly. She brought some golf carts around so we could take some photos of Jessie and Scott near Hole 1. The rest of the staff was also very helpful and conscientious. The food was incredible. Kevin and I have been recommending the Tournament Club to any golfers we know for its picturesque landscape.
We took this photo in the proshop. Jessi and Scott are Hawkeye fans so we liked that we could incorporate that into a photo of their rings.
Outside the back doors, Jessie and Scott told us of this location that was great for big group photos. It was raining on and off all day but this whole group was under the shelter of an awning.
We highly recommend the Tournament Club for anyone looking for a reception site for their wedding or for a corporate party. It has become our favorite new venue for weddings. Thanks again Barb for all your hard work.
